Introduction

Green biotechnology, a rapidly advancing branch of biotechnology, plays a pivotal role in addressing the global challenges posed by climate change. As rising temperatures, erratic rainfall, and increasing soil salinity threaten global agriculture and ecosystems, the integration of biotechnology into environmental and agricultural practices offers promising solutions for enhancing climate resilience. The theme of “Green Biotechnology and Climate Resilience” invites interdisciplinary collaboration among molecular biologists, agronomists, ecologists, and policymakers. The second internnational conference on “Recent Advances in Green Biotechnology and Climate Resilience” will be held in the most tourist spot of the country, i.e., Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal, Dir Upper, where glimpsing resorts, viz., "Kumrat,” and “Jahaz Banda” are at a distance of a few kilometers from Sheringal. The conference will comprise of keynote addresses, oral presentations, and poster presentations. The Young Researchers Forum and Exhibitions will provide a dedicated platform for researchers, young inspired scientists, and academicians to share the knowledge that’s still yet to be revealed in the fields of biotechnology and environmental sciences at this 2-day event scheduled for September 03-04, 2026. The event will bring together a unique mix of experts, researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, as well as decision-makers both from academia and industry across the country to exchange their knowledge, expertise, and research innovations to build a world-class Biotechnology and Environmental Science conference.

Submission of abstracts

Interested participants are requested to submit abstracts to Dr. Allah Ditta, Associate Professor, at allah.ditta@sbbu.edu.pk before September 10, 2026.
The selected Papers shall be sent to the selected journals for publication in special issues. The arrangement regarding special issues in different journals is in process.
